This is a great villa in a very good location on the outskirts of Pollenca, with the old town just a few minutes` walk away. There is a lovely sheltered pool area and, at the front of the villa, views of the Tramontana mountains.
Finca Barqueta is a very comfortable three-bedroom house built in traditional Mallorcan style. There are air conditioning units in the bedrooms and central heating throughout, although the central heating is not included in the rental. If central heating is required this needs to be paid locally.
The main entrance leads to the lounge dining area which has satellite television and a DVD player as well as a nice leather chaise longe sofa. To the right hand side of the lounge there is a large fitted kitchen with appliances including a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer and a microwave.
The bedrooms are on the other side of the house; they comprise of two twin bedrooms and one double, all sharing two bathrooms. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning units.
There is also a lovely sun-terrace and gardens with sun-loungers and umbrellas. Along the other side of the pool there is a separate building with a built-in barbecue, and a toilet with a shower. The swimming pool, surounded by a lawned area, has roman steps and is gated, making it an ideal choice for families with children.
