Villa Burgat is a very stylish Majorcan house situated on the edge of the beautiful Valley of Colonya. It has magnificent views to the mountains and just a few minutes drive to the beautiful old town of Pollensa.
Villa Burgat is at the end of a private drive which is flanked with old and large oak trees; the charming gardens are private and have a lawn area with tropical plants such as cacti and palm trees as well as many other summer plants. There is a large sun terrace by the rectangular shape swimming pool and a covered terrace at the front of the house.
The villa is designed in Majorcan style with white walls, tiled floors and beamed ceilings, the furnishings and ornaments are also traditional style combined with touches of modernity specially the art paintings and crafts. There is a small fitted kitchen with marble work surfaces and appliances such as a microwave, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer; there is also a door leading out to the front covered terrace with views to the garden and pool area. Next to the kitchen there is a large and bright open – plan dining area with original furnishings and paints. An arch way gives access to the comfortable and cosy lounge area with lovely sofas and a traditional wood burning stove ideal for the cooler months of the season. The lounge is complimented with a good size satellite TV and a DVD player.
The rooms are also comfortably furnished in classic traditional; they consist of one double and two twins, with Air Conditioning / Heater. The double bedroom is furnished with antic furnishings and the rest of the bedrooms are modern with touches of traditional character. Both twin bedrooms have access to the side terrace.
The colourful gardens are a delight, the lovely mosaic tiled swimming pool has corner steps and it is surrounded by comfortably furnished paved sun terrace with sun loungers and a well maintained lawn area. The built in barbecue is a compliment to enjoy the benefits of outdoor cooking.
