This beautiful and very impressive manor house is a unique property set in a fantastic location in the north central part of the island. Panoramic views can be enjoyed over open, rural and un-spoilt countryside from all parts of the property.
The ambience allows you to go back in time and breath the calm and quite of the monastic lifestyle of 1700, when the monks of the Order of San Cayetano chose this place to build a monastry and oratory (still exisiting). In the 60’s it was transformed into a meeting place for aristocrats, politicians, actors and poets of Europe and USA. It was visited by such famous persons as the Queen of Holland, the King of Bulgaria, Pilar and Joan Miró, the poet Robert Graves, the composer John Barry…
Sa Capella with its marble tiled floors, original antique furnishings throughout and beamed ceilings is full of grand charm, elegance and character; yet is relaxed, spacious and comfortable.
This mansion is set in an old private estate with mature shrubs and lush vegetation in an extremely private and secluded position. All in all, the property has 11 bedrooms. The main house has 2 twin bedroom and 4 double bedrooms (for a total of 12 people), and 6 bathrooms (5 of them en-suite). The pool annexe has 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.
There are a further 2 small apartments, one with double bed and one with twin beds. Both have bathrooms, kitchenettes and a small garden and one of them(with twin beds) has a sofa bed for an extra child up to 12 years.
NOTE: Extra services, like extra cleaning, breakfast or cook service can also be booked. Seminars, courses and working parties may benefit of special prices; and weddings are also accepted. All these services and extras are subjected to special conditions and prices, and should be notified and agreed before confirming the booking.
VERY IMPORTANT
- This property is for up to 22 people.
- A deposit of 200,00 € is required, that will be paid back on the departure date if there are no breakages.
- The cost of the electricity is included in the price, but not the cost of A/C and heating. The price is 1€ / kWh. The cost will be discounted from the aforesaid 200,00 € deposit.
- Cots and high-chairs have to be ordered in advance. The first 3 cots and high-chairs are for free. Each additional cot has a price of 30 € / week. Each additional high-chair has a price of 30 € / week.
- No parties or weddings are allowed
- No pets allowed.
- It is totally forbidden to make noise from midnight on.
- The “tax on tourist stays” (better known as the “ecotax”) will be paid in the arrival date. It is payable by all persons of 16 years or more. Those who have yet to reach 16 years of age do not pay Ecotax. The price of the Ecotax for those stays that take place between May, 1st and October, 30th is 2,20 € per person per day for the first 8 nights. From the 9th night forward, there is a discount of 50% - the price is 1,1 €). If the stay comprises between November, 1st and April, 30th, there is a discount of 75% (that is to say, 0,55 € per person for the first 8 nights, and 0,28 € per person from the 9th night on).
- All of these extra costs have to be paid locally to the property manager.
